'ey up lads!

I've been playing my Robo alt in pug PvP a lot lately and really enjoying it but I feel I could do better so I'm here to get some tips on loadout and point allocation from the pros tongue

So far I'm running
1 Shotgun
4 Focus Repair Arm
4 Personal Turret
3 Med Station
3 Force Wall

IMO this gives a huge amount of flexibility as I can use it both offesively and defensively and so far it's doing ok

My current point spec is this with aims of running this.

Your thoughts?

I'd say lose the final 2 points in Engineer tree and put them into defensive skills in Drones (protection and health). Or lose offhand recharge and relocate them to these defensive skills.
Sniper usually manage to hit 2 shots. If he is buffed, you go down. These will give you chance to move to cover and keep your nest alive longer.

Edit: Also, I recommend either carrying Eye drone or sensor instead of Force Wall. Its great skill for PvE, but players are not so stupid to not relocate and shoot around it smile

I do pretty well with

4 shotgun
1 repair arm
4 eye drone
4 personal turret
2 med station

Slightly more offensive than defensive but works well.

I was tempted to plan for the defensive skills in the drone tree but I'm already at +20% health with the current planned build. I'll consider swapping out the offhand recharge and see how it goes when I get there. Depends if I miis those extra seconds cooldown or not.

I have tried to swap out the Force Wall for various things but I find myself going back to it. I think it's such a versatile skill for offense and defence that it's too valuable. The times I've not spec'd it I've wished I had it. There's usually an abundance of other robos that carry sensor or power station I feel I can get away with not specing it.

i usually take focus repair arm 3, its enough to outeal a sniper with right click (if he isnt using scanner/stim) and if assault comes behind it 4 won't help and for force shield it's eather 4 ( for size) or 1 just to build the turret behind it. But still drones ftw wink
