i know we discussed this in game a bit but we should figure out if we are going to use 2 or 3 robotics in our strike team, and what do we think about like, 2 in attack force and 3 in defense?

the build I'm using/thinking of for AvA -
level 4 repair A.R.C arm
level 2 power station
level 2 medical station
level 3 rifle
level 4 turret (still not sure which it depends on how the other robotics setup - but we were talking about at least 1 rocket and 1 autocannon)

I only just got the ARC repair arm - but for those who don't know it heals multiple targets - so very good for defense -it's just it has a 40% damage boost instead of 55%, but i figure the defensive aspect is better just to keep the gear up.

changed my setup completely now

personal turret level 4
force shield level 4
focus repair arm level 4
med station level 2
rumble blaster level 1

just found the force shield so helpful even though i didnt like it at first, in AvA the potential for pwnz is massive, quick turret building defence, block concentrated fire from the enemy team long enough for your team mates to move, or to give the team the extra defence time to out damage the other team, block enemy turrets as soon as or after they are built, (right close up or far away) but the level 4 giant shield ROCKS, rumble blaster is genius just because it actually does some useful damage, the rifle is ok for concetrating but the rumble with your team can do the same thing but better and the AOE is great

not such a fan of drones really but i appreciate their value although i think this set-up can easily match it in attack value even though the turret is static

The 4 Shield can be used as a makeshift Robo boost on the point, if you make a + with shields, highly effective if used correct.

I use the following setup:

Offense:
4 Personal Turret
4 Shield
3 Hornet Drone
3 Shotgun
1 Repair Arm

Defence:
4 Personal Turret
4 Shield
4 Medcrate
2 Repair Arm
1 Shotgun

I use the medcrate on defence to make healing alot easier for the medics and to cure poison etc. on Offense I use the Hornet Drone to help me build Boost and to counter groups of enemies or turrets.

I think Rogue made a new build good for beacon carriers, it had more defence. Hope he posts it here soon

Is the personal turret that much better than the others? I know it has a wider arc, so is that the sole reason for using it over the others?

Personal turrets have the quickest cooldown and deploy time making them very versatile in heavy AvA battles.
