So is it just me that spends all day at work gets home logs in and sits in a queue till 11:30pm at night just to get onto Perento and play for an hour before having to quit for sleep

It was especially annoying as there where so many private stores just sitting around. People obviously gone to bed and left them there so they dont have to queue tomorrow.

Well have hit level 7 in one hour. Hoping to get on a bit earlier tonight and level some more.

The ques are a joke. They really have to sort it out or people are going to get pissed off pretty damn quick

Either they fix this soon, and come with some kind of compensation gesture, or they will loose a lot of players fast.

Yes. I had to wait for about 4 hours last night to get online. I was 27xx in the queue and I heard people was in 4000+ queues. I can't blame people for using private store just to stay online.

Even more of a joke if you consider that they should have done the whole pre-order thing as a way to gauge the demand. I mean come on - they had the sales data and now they still put up way too few servers to start.

yesterday i started at 4026 or something and had to wait 4 hours and 37 minutes... RIGHT NOW, i'm 1586 in the queue and it says i have to wait 3 hours and 32 minutes...

I remember Darkfall, it had these queues aswell. Barely anyone here played it and most were laughing with it (me) telling me how shit the game was, only for the queues (ye also the content and design but started with the queues)

The other thing I dont get is if they where balancing how many characters could/accounts could create on each server then surely they should have been aware of how much demand was going to be in place and where!

It does make me wonder what actual release is going to be like though.

But on the plus side my Razer Naga has arrived and I like it. Now if only I could get online to use it.......

I wont bother with waiting 9 hours to get into a server really. They gotta open up some new ones. Balancing populations okay, but you can determine that Aion is a new mmo on the market that will attract a whole flux of players the first week. 5 Servers were way to less, as some assumed already. Bad management from NCsoft West.

Its very dissappointing.

I bet a lot of the logged on people are afk and that is why the wait time has gone up.

Maybe they should restart the servers once or twice a day to flush all the afkers off.

9hr 7 Mins queue. I will leave it running in the background but I doubt it will log in long before I need to goto sleep if it logs in at all.

I think tomorrow I will get the mrs to log me in when she gets home a few hours before me.

For once I'm actually happy for my time zones as it helps to avoid the ques if I get home really early.

You can. Just don't log in at ones. Ask on vent if your char is online or not. THEN log in. If you get the "your character is already logged in", back to the queue you go.
I have rebooted my computer twice during the 9 hour queues today and I always got back on. It is 5 minutes from you dropping from the game that the game "remembers" you for according to Ayase.
