Hello Ladies and Gentlemen
I am here to give you a small update on all the changes that our lovely guild has undergone. As you may know, The head start will begin tomorrow. So here is some extra info.
Website changes
Thanks to all the constructive feedback of the members, we were able to to give our site a new look. I am very satisfied with the results, our emblem really stands out now. I will also add that it can always be tweaked, if you see something that is bothering you. Don't be afraid to speak your mind. We want a fresh and clean site and improving it's usage is always an important factor.
Crafting, Guildtax
We had a long discussion about this at the last Guild staff meeting. And judging from member feedback is essential that we are able to support our guild crafters. The vast majority of the guild needs to work to together so we can help each other with armour, gear etc.. It will be highly appreciated if you can donate materials, recipes to the guild. Because you shall be able to benefit from all the things the guild Crafters can make for you.
How can we be successful in this. We shall analyse the costs of materials for the different professions, and costs for Sieging. We were talking about implementing a Guild-taxation system. Since this is something we also had in WAR. We always had cash in our Guild bank and we able to support our Guild crafters at all times (example: The Guild bank can buy recipes, and support crafters in materials where necessary, if they lack a few themselves). To my disappointment Aion does not have such a system implemented. I was thinking of starting of with a weekly cash donation of 5000 Kinah to begin with on launch (once you hit level 10). This is not a lot of money and I bet everyone will be able to contribute this in the first week. The point is to increase this over time and keep it at a 25 % percentage rate. That would be something between 15000-20000 Kinah a week. This is still something we want to discuss with you Crafting, Tax. Since We don't have a good view yet on what the estimate costs will be, eg the heavy Sieging later on in the Abyss.
Note: On Launch I'll need a small donation of everyone to get our Guild set up.
Memberlist
We recently had a lot of disappointing Applications, But we have been able to fill out the last spots. I have double checked everyone's activity, judging from the list everybody is checking the website on weekly bases. So keep up the good work.
Sadly we also had to say goodbye to a few members who weren't as active as I supposed. Filling out the last few spots in the guild will also be a concern in the next few weeks. I will keep monitoring everybody's activity closely, so if you something stirs up your irl. Just let me know:)
I hope you are all set and ready for Aion. Because a new journey starts tomorrow, Something we have all been waiting for
.
Kind regards
Your Gm
