The next Aion closed beta event is coming your way on July 2-6, 2009. Enjoy a long weekend of fun in Atreia as testing concentrates on first 20 levels of the Elyos and Asmodians (yep, that's right, Elyos AND Asmodians). Choose your side and tell us all about your escapades in Elysea and Asmodae in this exciting event.
We thank all of our players in our first two closed beta events. Your feedback has been invaluable! For this event, participants must have a full-access beta key or have received an invitation for the third closed beta event specifically. (Single event keys for the first two beta events are no longer valid.)
There's more than one way to join in the fun:
* FilePlanet is giving away keys to the third closed beta event on Monday, June 29. These keys are limited to North America only; please visit FilePlanet for more details.
* Players who have pre-ordered Aion have access to all beta events. You can pre-order online at NCsoft.com or through participating retailers, including GameStop, Amazon, Best Buy, and EB Games Canada.
* Keep an eye on the Aion team Twitters (@aion_ayase, @aion_amboss, @aion_liv, and @aion_xaen) and Aion Facebook page for your chance to score an invite.
Updated notes for the latest game changes and additions are coming soon.
The third closed beta event starts on July 2 (12:00 PM PT, 9:00 PM CEST, 8:00 PM BST) and we look forward to seeing you there!

I will be seriously disappointed if I will find a single bug in the first 20 levels areas. After so much testing in Korea, China and now in US and EU, the game gotta be flawless...

How much can you handle in the 4 days event? If you would play 8 hours max?
Eg.: Level 4 chars to 10 / only one to 20

Naah, Hyo.. 2 hours is a stretch.. You can do it on a mage for sure. If you did all the quest before on a previous char.
But if you only have 8 hours to play you could get a mage to 9 do the ascension quest and become level 10 Change your class to Sorc or Spiritmaster. That would take you about 2 hours. Maybe 3 if it's your first time playing.
Then play around for another hour with the new class, buying new skills, armor and test the class out at level 10.
Then you should have time to level another char to 10. The other classes takes a bit longer to level 10. Mage is really fast in the beginning levels.
I leveled a Spiritmaster to 10 and a Cleric to 10 in about 7 hours during my nightshift.
You can get 1 mage class to 16 or so in 8 hours total. Other classes not far behind. But that is knowing where to go etc. When I became level 10 for the first time. I spent like 2 hours in the maincity running around checking stuff out.

As always, Sterling speaks the truth. I got frustrated at how slow the Scout was for leveling, stopped at level 7 (after 3/4 hours) and started a mage who I got to 10 in 2 1/2 hours. In other news: I just remembered I'm going to see The Cat Empire on the 2nd July so I'll miss that date, but will hopefully be able to make up for it over the weekend. I'd take that gig ahead of any game anyway
